The annual SMIT Award will be offered to the most comprehensive presentation based on technological applications.
The Scientific Committee will award five grants offered by the organizer for original abstracts submitted by five young researchers (students, residents, young doctors or scientists under 35 years old). These grants will be made up of the 2009 conference participation fee, of three nights of accommodation and of the amount for the 2010 SMIT Membership fee (with MITAT journal included).
